Certification Process:
- Review of provided technical documentations.
- Product registration & submission of mandatory documents on the GSO EE portal.
- Notified Body’s (GCA NB-0001) application approval on the GSO EE portal.
- Payment of GSO fees.
- Oman/Bahrain (Regulator) final approval.
- Download letter of approval and label from the GSO EE portal and forward to the client.
Requirements:
- EER Regulatory Application Form
- Performance (EER) Test report from 3rd party accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) laboratory
- Laboratory accreditation and scope
- Gulf Type Examination Certificate and its technical documentation or draft GCTS
- Manufacturer, Factory & Importer – Commercial Registry (CR)
- Trade Mark (Brand) Registration Certificate
- Instruction/safety manuals (written in Arabic and English language)
- Photos of product including unit, label and packaging (if split type, provide photos for both outdoor and indoor units)
- List of critical components
- Product Identity Declaration (if applicable)
